Vincent DeLancey Mr. Vincent Edgar DeLancey, 80, retired employee of Ford Motor Company in Dearborne, Michigan, died Friday, March 5, 2004, at his residence in Albertville, Alabama. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Phillip Bradley and Greg DeLancey officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The Tipton County native was the son of the late James Edgar DeLancey and Callie Rebecca Laxton DeLancey. He served in the U. S. Army Coastal Artillery during World War II. Mr. DeLancey was a member of Guntersville Church of Christ and a charter member of the Rotary Club in Henderson, Tennessee. Survivors include his wife, Gladys McKee DeLancey of Albertville, Alabama; one daughter, Sue DeLancey (Roger) Willoughby of Albertville, Alabama; one son, Greg (Terri) DeLancey of Murray, Kentucky; two brothers, Ernest DeLancey of Independence, Missouri; Biff (Bernice) DeLancey of Decatur, Alabama; five grandchildren, Heather (Brad) Bogard, Chad DeLancey, and Jennifer DeLancey, all of Murray, Kentucky; Josh Willoughby of Albertville, Alabama; Ben Willoughby of Alta Mont Springs, Florida; and three great grandchildren, Braxton Bogard and Blayne Bogard, both of Murray, Kentucky; Rayna DeLancey of Bowling Green, Kentucky. Pallbearers will be Roger Willoughby, Chad DeLancey, Ben Willoughby, Brad Bogard, Sonny Hill, Billy Minor, Ronnie Erwin, and Travis Hammack. Honorary pallbearer is Ray Dykemia.
