Virginia Morton Fraser Mrs. Virginia Morton Fraser, resident of Canaan Road, died Saturday, February 10, 2007 at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Andrew Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Charles Errette Morton and Nancy Jones Morton. She was a graduate of Columbia Central High School and a member of Jackson Heights Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband, Harold Douglas "Doug" Fraser of Columbia; two sons, Gary (Becky) Fraser of Knoxville and Barry (Terri) Fraser of San Francisco, California; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Fraser of San Diego, California, Brooke Fraser and Zach Fraser, both of Knoxville; a sister, Betty (W. M.) Carroll of Columbia. Serving as pallbearers are Zach Fraser, Bill Carroll, Larry Yeager, Lester Crane, Don Gibson, Bradley Dugger, Randy Carroll, and Benny Morton.
