Virginia Mai Fogg Golden

Mrs. Virginia Mai Fogg Golden, 96, long-time resident of South Main Street, died Thursday, March 19, 2009 at Williamson Medical Center. Funeral services were conducted Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Dr. Jim Hughes officiating. Burial was in Polk Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Golden was a member of First United Methodist Church for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Golden; a son, William Lee "Bill" Golden; 2 sisters and a brother. Survivors include a grandson, Gary (Rita) Golden of Franklin; daughter-in-law, Shirley McDonald Golden of Nashville; grandsons, Matthew William Golden and Andrew Davis Golden of Franklin; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
