Vivienne Harris Troope

Mrs. Vivienne Harris Troope, 82, homemaker and resident of Alpine Drive, died Tuesday, March 22, 2005, at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Thursday at Highland Park Baptist Church with Rev. Bob Adair and Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. A native of Wilmont, South Dakota, she was the daughter of the late Charles Harris and Elmyra Wacker Harris. She was married to Paul Troope who preceded her in death on January 17, 2000. Mrs. Troop was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church. Survivors include one daughter, Sondra Ussery of Williamsport; one son, Charles (Vicky) Troope of Columbia; three grandsons, Jason Troope, Chris Woods and John (Rhonda) Ussery; two granddaughters, Stephanie (Cliff) Stanfill and Cheryl Kaye (Jason) Riggins; nine great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Herman Lewis, Pat Troope, Sam Beddingfield, Thomas Anderson, Tommy Anderson, Terry Davis and Ennis Haley. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Seekers Sunday School Class at Highland Park Baptist Church, staff at Life Care Center and Dr. Paul Perryman.
