Mr. Walter William Kamar, 41, employee of Ace Pest Control, died Sunday, March 5, 2006 at his residence on Hardy Road. Funeral services will be conducted at 11a.m., Thursday, at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Rhodes officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The Biloxi, Mississippi native was the son of Theresa England Kamar of Memphis and the late Walter Kamar. He was a graduate of Bartlett High School and attended college at Southwestern Community College in Memphis. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Survivors in addition to his mother are one son, William Devin Kamar of Columbia; one daughter, Taryn Courtenay Kamar of Columbia; two sisters, Lydia Martin of Memphis, Margaret Kibbey of Louisiana; one brother, Martin Kamar of New York; his fiancee, Melody McGee and her children, Britni Jones, Caleb Jones, Shalee Jones and Christian Johnson all of Columbia; and the mother of his children, Alicia Martin of Columbia. He was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Courtney Kamar. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
