Walter R Street

Mr. Walter Richard Street, 68, resident of Fairview Road in Lynnville, died Monday, December 19, 2005 at Meadowbrook Nursing Home in Giles County. A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Thursday at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Nashville. Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Williamson County native was the son of the late Lemon Dewey Street and Mattie Culberson Street. He served in the United States Navy. Mr. Street was employed as produce manager at Eddie's Market and was also a bricklayer. Survivors include three daughters Deborah Tudor, Nelda Street, Renae Street all of Nashville; one son, Mitchell Street of Nashville; five sisters, Frances and her husband Leon Starr of Columbia, Irene Clift and Betty Street both of Nashville, Patricia and her husband Noah of Huntsville, Alabama, Juanita Shroyer of Richmond, Michigan; three brothers, Bobby Street of Columbia, Johnny Street of Roseville, Michigan, and Gene Street of Lynnville. He was preceded in death by one brother, L.D. Street and one sister, Erna Ladas.
