Walter Timothy "Tim" Grant

Mr. Walter Timothy “Tim” Grant, 70, of Columbia, TN and formerly of Chester, SC, died on September 20, 2019 at home. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 19th at 3:00 PM at St Paul’s Episcopal Church in Franklin, TN. Born November 13, 1948 in Chester, SC, he was the son of the late Walter Clio “Skeet” Grant, and the late Marguerite Sullivan Grant. He was a 1967 graduate of Chester High School and 1971 graduate of Clemson University where he was a charter member of the Kappa Alpha Order. Mr. Grant was an active member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Franklin. He is survived by his companion, Cavalyn Nancy “CC” Muller; three daughters, Meredith Grant (Mike) Enzwiler, Allison Grant (Fernando) Buzeta, and Marguerite Grant “Meg” (Patrick) Roof; six grandchildren, Robert Daniel Hester, Henry Michael Enzwiler, Simon Thomas Enzwiler, Arden Webb Enzwiler, Wyatt Patrick Roof, and Grant Fernando Buzeta; a sister, Hester Grant (Fletcher) Barker; a niece, Julie Barker (Ross) Turner; a great-nephew Clarence Ross “Clay” Turner IV, two great-nieces Carey Arden Turner and Ellis Summers Turner; three step-daughters, Nancy Muller (John) Caterina, Cathleen Mary Muller-Reed, Jennifer Muller (Mark) Ballard; four step-grandchildren, Carly Tesla “Tes” Beals, Nicole Ballard “Nikki” (TJ) Shipley, Jennifer Cavalyn “Jennylyn” Caterina, and Raven Madison Beals; and one step great-grandchild Elijah Shipley.   Memorial contributions may be made to Clemson University.
