Warren Coffey Fox, 71, retired mechanical engineer with Columbia Machine Works and resident of Hampshire Pike, died Friday, May 16, 2008 at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Brother Andrew Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Bryant Cemetery at Mooresville. The family will visit with friends Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the son of the late Earl C. Fox and Sadie Rieves Fox. A 1955 graduate of Columbia Central High School, he served in the U. S. Army from 1961 to 1963 and earned a B. S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville. He was a member of Jackson Heights Church of Christ. Survivors include a sister-in-law, Patricia A. Fox; niece, Teresa A. (Aaron) Lamb; nephew, James W. Fox; great-nieces and great-nephew, Rebecca Lamb, Kristen Lamb, and Patrick Lamb, all of Indianapolis, Indiana. He was preceded in death by a brother, William T. Fox in 1989. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
