Warren Wayne Wheeler, 59, of Columbia, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2016.He was the devoted and beloved son of Margaret Bishop Wheeler and the late Robert Wheeler. Warren graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School in 1974, attended UT Knoxville, and marched in The Pride of the Southland Marching Band. He lived in New Orleans for many years and became an accomplished stained glass artist. In later years, Warren relocated back to Columbia and was very involved in Columbia Cares. Warren is predeceased by his father, Robert Wheeler and his life partner, Bob Spedding. He is survived by his mother, Margaret Wheeler of Columbia; sister, Jane (Jay) Johnson of Shelbyville; nephew, Mark Johnson of Murfreesboro; niece, Elizabeth Johnson of Lewisburg; and a host of extended family members and loving friends whom he considered his family.
