WAYNE HINES Mr. Robert Wayne "Homer" Hines, 61, retired employee of the Maury County Highway Department and former owner/operator of The Pizza Maker, died Thursday, February 6, 2003 at his residence on Gray Circle. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 2:00 P.M. at the First Assembly of God on the Nashville Highway with the Rev. Charles Blythe and Rev. Dean Sims officiating. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 1:00 P.M. until time of service at the church. Immediately following the service a remembrance and celebration of life will be held at Sam Hill's Restaurant. The Maury County native was the son of Jessie Warf Hines and the late Robert "Red" Hines, Jr. In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife, Edith Hines of Columbia; daughter, Priscilla (Ted) Jennings of Columbia; three sons, Jerry Wayne Hines, Hiram Lance Hines both of Columbia, Robert Manuel Hines of Washington, D.C.; granddaughters, Tessa Jennings, Tately Jennings, and Mary Dallis Hines all of Columbia; grandson, Tyson Jennings of Columbia; brother, Jerry Thomas "Killer" (Betty Sue) Hines of Washington, D.C.; sister, Diane Sowell of Norris, TN; four nephews, Scott Hines of Washington, D.C., Dr. Forrest Sowell of Chattanooga, Jason Sowell of Boston, Massachusetts, Braxton Sowell of Knoxville; niece, Lora Hines Marianio of Washington, D.C.
