MR. WAYNE PETTYMr. Lewis Wayne Petty, 42, employee of Tennessee Commercial Warehouse (TCW) and resident of Columbia Rock Road died Tuesday, April 1, 2003, at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted 10:30 A.M., Friday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Brown officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Nebo Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. He was a former employee of Occidental Chemical Company.Survivors in addition to his mother are two brothers, Ross (Missy) Petty of Columbia, Adam (Tammy) Petty of Mooresville; one niece, Ashley Petty; one nephew, Adam Petty; special friends, Sonya Rippy, Dana Davidson and Martin Earnhardt.Pallbearers will be Martin Earnhardt, Ed "Rodriguez" Roderick, Aubrey "Ty" Duncan, Herman "Butch" Fuller, Marty "Fast Marty" Dreher and Dale "Cave Man" Davidson. Honorary pallbearers will be Perry Daniels, Charles Daniels and Claude Daniels.
