View Video TributeMs. Wendi Dawn Wilson, 43, resident of Morningside Lane, died Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Pastor David Graves officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to the Maury County Animal Shelter, 1233 Mapleash Ave., Columbia, TN 38401. Condolences may be offered online at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of William S. Wilson, Jr. and Glenda Mabry Wilson of Columbia. She was a graduate of Columbia Central High School and earned a Bachelor's degree from Middle Tennessee State University. A free spirit and avid lover of animals, Wendi embraced and cherished all aspects of life. Her unparalleled affection for people and furry creatures was inspiring. She will be greatly missed. Survivors in addition to her parents are daughters, Kristia Marie Bravo and Karina Nicole Bravo both of Murfreesboro; fiancé, William Christopher Bryson of Columbia; brother, Derek (English) Wilson of Columbia; sister, Jessica (Jason) Bolton of Columbia; nieces, Kaelyn Wilson, Abbey Wilson; nephews, Chandler Parker, Josh Bolton, Jared Bolton, Jace Bolton, Joey Bolton; and several aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by grandparents, William S. and Dorothy Wilson and Paul and Marie Mabry. Friends and family members will serve as pallbearers.
