Wesley W Brooks

Wesley William Brooks, 70, retired employee of Durango Boot, died Monday, January 22, 2007, at his residence on Westover Drive. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at Rose Hill Cemetery with Rev. Mike Roberts officiating. The family will visit with friends Wednesday after 11:00 A.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the son of the late Henry Green Brooks and Annie Lou Mosley Brooks. Survivors include his wife, Mary Elizabeth Polk Brooks of Columbia; two daughters, Mary Lou Brooks (Tommy O'Guinn) of Columbia; Annie Marie (Robbie) McDonald of Culleoka; one son, Marion Wayne Brooks of Columbia; one sister, Louise Scroggins of Texas; and grandchildren, Elizabeth Brooks, Wesley Wayne Brooks, Phillip Brooks, Tiffany O'Guinn, Tommy Lee O'Guinn, Jr., Scott Logan O'Guinn, Sarah Marie O'Guinn, Amos Wall, Ashley Wall, Christa McDonald, Victoria McDonald, and Robin McDonald. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
