Wiley Green Mangrum, Jr., 86, owner of Mangrum Furniture Repair and Refinishing, died Monday, February 25, 2019 at his residence on Pinewood Road in Franklin. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 1:00 P.M. at Dickson Funeral Home Fairview with Chaplain Aaron Menard and Benny Mangrum officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. until service time at Dickson Funeral Home Fairview. Born May 12, 1932 in Williamson County, he was the youngest of twelve children of the late Wiley Green Mangrum, Sr. and the late Mary Agnes Sullivan Mangrum. He was former owner of a service station and had worked for Davis Cabinet and Crescent Repair and Refinish Furniture. Mr. Mangrum was a member of Southern Methodist. Survivors include his wife, whom he married October 2, 1954, Viola Pauline White Mangrum of Franklin; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Dixie Spence, Clemons Mangrum, Benjamin Mangrum, Homer Mangrum, Gladys Anderson, Gilbert Mangrum, L. B. Mangrum, Marie McCord, Lilly Mangrum, Burford Mangrum, and Dalton Mangrum. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
