William Blade Jr

William Hubert Blade, Jr. William Hubert Blade, Jr., 42, employee of First Response in Nashville and resident of Pulaski Highway, died Thursday, June 10, 2004, as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Rutherford County. Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Ricky Cotton officiating. Burial was in Polk Memorial Gardens. The Giles County native was the son of William H. Blade, Sr. and Linda Watson Blade of Pulaski. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Cathy Chumley Saum Blade of Columbia; one son, Brandon Blade of Owensboro, Kentucky; one step-son, Jeff Saum of Columbia; one stepdaughter, Christina Saum of Columbia; one sister, Rhonda Thomason of Pulaski; one brother, Steve (Traci) Blade of Pulaski; grandmother, Margaret Watson Long of Pulaski; two grandchildren; three step grandchildren, Tyler Saum, Rachel Ward, Dakota Saum; and several nieces and nephews.
