View Video Tribute View Funeral Webcast William “Billy” Coy Ring, 81, a resident of Spring Hill, died Sunday, August 15, 2021 at his residence. Funeral services for Mr. Ring will be conducted on Tuesday at 3:30 PM at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Kenny McFarland officiating. Burial will follow in the Thomas Mayhue Brown cemetery. The family will visit with friends Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 at Oakes & Nichols. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born April 11, 1940 in Columbia, TN to the late William Percy Ring and the late Rachel Amick Ring. On July 1, 1960, he was married to Jennie Mai Brown Ring who preceded him in death on June 11, 2019. Mr. Ring was a furnace operator at Occidental Chemical and later retired from Premier. He was a master shade tree mechanic. Mr. Ring was a faithful member of the Lanton church of Christ. Survivors include sons, Freddy (Brenda) Ring of Culleoka, TN, Kevin (Rachel) Ring and Jason (Maria) Ring, both of Spring Hill, TN; Grandchildren, Will (Kasey) Ring, Amy (Cole) Skelton, Ryan (Heather) Ring, Travis (Bethany) Ring, Daniel Ring, Jakob Ring, Rachel Ring and Jackson Ring; Great-grandchildren, Payton Ring, Bently Ring, Savannah Ring, Ethan Bowman, Walt Skelton and Colt Skelton; Sister Peggy Ring Sampson; Brothers-in-law, Harold (Margie) Brown, James Burns and Terry Brown (John Eslick); Sisters-in-law Peggy (Stan) Robertson, Debbie (Larry) Collins and Patsy (Harold) Huey. In addition to his parents, Mr. Ring was preceded in death by son, Danny Coy Ring; Brothers, Homer Ring and Ronnie Ring; Brothers-in-law Joe Farlow and Bobby Sampson; Sisters-in-law Faye Ring, Judy Burns and Shirley Farlow. Serving as pallbearers will be his grandsons. The family would like to thank; Leslie Hanson, Rhonda Allen, and the nurses at Caris Hospice.
