William Allen Carter, 36, resident of Thomas Avenue, died Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 6:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Dan Caruso and John Saunders officiating. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. and Monday from 4:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be held at later date in Beech Hill Cemetery. He enjoyed playing on the play station, baseball, and basketball. His greatest joy was spending time with fiancée and children. Mr. Carter was a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to his mother, survivors include his children, Colby Whatley; Samuel Carter; Zachary Conner; fiancée, Jennifer Elizabeth Conner; her parents, Lisa and David Conner; brothers, John Eastep; Brian Frazier; sister, Brandy Eastep ; grandparents, Billy Whatley; Faye and Wesley Scott; aunts and uncles, Paul and Teresa Schaffer; Janice Whatley; Danny Eastep; Ricky Eastep; Timmy Eastep; Tony Eastep; Chris and Lisa Whatley; Johnny and Lisa Whatley; nieces and nephews, Lacey Conner, Hanna Eastep, Ryan Eastep, and Cameron Eastep; and sisters-in-law, Rhonda Eastep and Ashley McCandless. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his sister, Amber Michelle Whatley; grandmothers, Gladys Johnson and Annie Ruth Beard.
