View Funeral Webcast William Edward McClellan, age 75, a resident of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away peacefully Sunday, September 4, 2022. Edward was a member of Eastern Shore Baptist Church in Daphne, Alabama. He retired after 37 years with CSX Railroad. Edward was a Mason and a Shriner. He was also a musician, avid golfer, wood worker and a loyal Tennessee fan. Ed is survived by his wife of 53 years, Anita H. McClellan of Fairhope, Alabama; daughter, Jennifer McClellan Reed (Jay) of Cartersville, Georgia; brother, George McClellan (Kay) of Franklin Tennessee; grandchildren, Jackson Edward Hellen and Jason Anthony Hellen both of Dallas, Georgia; nephews; other relatives and friends. The family will visit with friends Saturday, September 24, 2022 from 9:00 A.M.-11:00 A.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens.
