William James Green Jr

Mr. William James Green, Jr., 101, retired farmer and electrician with Tennessee Electric Company and Tennessee Valley Authority, died Sunday, December 24, 2006 at Maury Regional Hospital. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Neapolis Cemetery with Steve Robertson officiating. Oakes & Nichols Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements. Notes of sympathy may be sent to www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the son of the late William James Green, Sr. and Desi Aiekin Green. He served in the U. S. Army during World War II and was a 60 member of the American Legion. He was married in June, 1929 to Ruth Coleman Green who preceded him in death June 1, 2004. He is survived by his son, William James Green, III of Ft. Worth, Texas and several nieces nephews
