William Carson Posey

Mr. William Carson "Will" Posey, 15, native of Maury County, died Thursday in Nashville. Funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Sunday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Rush and Rev. Ed Herring officiating. The family will visit with friends Sunday after 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. Will was the son of James Arthur Inabnit of Marshall County and Karen Elizabeth Posey and Jessica Rose Duncan of Nashville. He was a 9th grade student at Hillsboro High School and attended the Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he is survived by grandparents, Buck and Pat Bishop of Mooresville; two uncles, Bubba Posey of Cornersville and Steve Mangrum of Santa Fe; great-grandparents, Lula Ervin of Mooresville, Eugenia Posey of Columbia, Bobbie Schabilon of Lawrenceburg, Charles and Shirley Bishop of Elberton, Georgia; and one cousin, Trenten Posey. Pallbearers will be Allan Ervin, James Lee Johnson, Clark Bishop, Evan Bishop, Mike Anderson and Kelley Colvin.
