William Randal Evetts, 55, died Monday, December 26, 2022 at his residence in Columbia. A celebration of life service will be conducted at a later date. Born June 25, 1967 in Davidson County, he was the son of Brenda Joyce Hutcherson Evetts and the late William Terry Evetts. He was a 1985 graduate of Spring Hill High School and served in the United States Air Force. For 25 years, he worked for Essex and more recently was a tractor operator for Maury County Highway Department. An avid outdoorsman, Mr. Evetts enjoyed fishing and riding his Harley Davidson. He loved NASCAR, Oakland Raiders football, playing guitar, and drawing. Mr. Evetts was a member of Theta Baptist Church. In addition to his mother, Brenda Joyce Hutcherson Evetts, survivors include his son, William Blaine Evetts; brother, Bobby Evetts; niece, Kayla Evetts; uncles, Gary (Cara) Hutcherson, Terry (Mona) Hutcherson, David (Julie) Hutcherson, Gary Dale (Nina) Evetts, Mark (Pam) Evetts; aunts, Sheila (Leroy) Crouch, Judy (Hollis) Flatt; special friends, Glen Wright, Joey Hargrove, Johnny Ray Yancey, Steve Mabry, Bobby Jacoby, Shannon Poynor; and “special grandchildren”, Hayden Frazier, and Mason Frazier.
