View Funeral Webcast View Video Tribute William Boyd "Punkin" Rich, Jr., 42, owner and operator of William Rich Plumbing for over twenty years, died Monday, April 30, 2018, at his residence on Cliff White Road. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2:30 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Brother Ronnie Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Springs Cemetery. Born May 11, 1975 in Maury County, he was the son of William Boyd Rich, Sr. of Columbia and the late Andrea Loretta York Rich. An avid outdoorsman, Mr. Rich enjoyed fishing, hunting and farming. He was a hard worker, honest and dependable; and above all very devoted husband, father, and grandfather. In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife whom he married April 28, 2001, Lori Ervin Rich of Columbia; daughter, Haley Rich (fiancé Brian Kerr) of Columbia; son, Dustin Rich of Columbia; grandson, William Levi Kerr of Columbia; brother, Andrew (Misty) Rich of Columbia; mother-in-law, Mary Bass Ervin of Columbia; brother-in-law, Joseph "Joey" Ervin of Columbia; sister-in-law, Lisa Stewart of Columbia; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Active pallbearers will be Jeremy York, Joe York, Jr., Shane Mosley, Tommy Crumley, Marty Erwin, and Ray Howell. Honorary pallbearers will include Joey Ervin, Brian Kerr, Jr., Bubba Posey, and Tim Gizzard.
