William Randal Stephens

Mr. William Randal "Randy" Stephens, 51, former employee of Spontex, Inc. and resident of Bestview Drive, died Thursday, July 10, 2003 at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. John Rushing officiating. A graveside service will be conducted at 3:30 P.M. in Old Orchard Cemetery in Lincoln County. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Lincoln County native was the son of the late William B. Stephens and Anna Margaret Sullivan. He was a graduate of Cornersville High School and a member of Northside Baptist Church in Columbia. Survivors include a daughter, Randala "Little Randi" Stephens of Shelbyville; stepson, Jeremy Sanborn of Petersburg; half-brother, Johnny Stephens of Nashville; half-sister, Beverly Rausch of Nashville; two aunts, Mrs. Charline (Elmo) Smith, Mrs. Jenny (Woody) Hall both of Bossier City, Louisiana; and five cousins, Larry, Greg, Gary, Lana and Beverly. Pallbearers will be Clifford Lamb, Michael Mitchell, Carmen Wood, Michael Lentz, Floyd Brewer and Dewayne Holden.
