William Theron Rubert, 95, retired employee of Heil Quaker and resident of Culleoka, died Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at Poplar Estates. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Brother Wayne Hissong officiating. Burial will follow in Hardison Cemetery on Rock Springs Road. Born October 6, 1927 in Lawrence County, he was the son of the late Clyde Samuel Rubert and the late Della Rose Chennault Rubert. He married Betty Lou Ring Rubert who preceded him in death March 29, 2020. Mr. Rubert enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Survivors include his daughters, Dianne (Marshall) Savage of Lewisburg; Donna Beard of Lewisburg; sons, Rickey Rubert of Lewisburg; Todd (Sharon) Rubert of Decherd; grandchildren, Michael Rubert, Steven Rubert, Amanda Rubert, Jennifer Savage, Jessica Savage, Matt Senter, Scott Senter, T. J. Rubert, Michelle Reynolds; six great grandchildren; and special friends, Larry Osborne, and the late James Anderson. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his son, Tim Rubert; and brothers, Tony Rubert, Bobby Rubert, and L.V. Rubert. Active pallbearers will be Matt Senter, Michael Rubert, Steven Rubert, T.J. Rubert, Bryan Rubert, Roscoe Brannon, Troy Rubert, Kaleb Rubert, Randy Fox, and Rob Pitts.
