William Vance Capley

Mr. William Vance Capley, 49, a resident of Academy Heights, died Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at Maury Regional Medical Center. The family will visit with friends Monday September 13th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 pm. at Northview Church of Christ. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born May 25, 1972 he was the son of the late James Horace Capley, Jr. and Betty Gilbert Capley. On October 18, 1993 he married Patsy Jean Cothran Capley. Mr. Capley was an Artist and enjoyed illustrating comic books and making social media videos. He was a member of the Northview Church of Christ. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a son, Steven Capley; daughter, Lillian Capley; brothers, Jamie (Emily) Capley and Jason (Karen) Capley; a sister, Patricia (Michael) Scribner; nieces and nephews, Jonathan Capley, Madison Scribner and Nathan Scribner; close friends, Andy and Kandi Hardison and their daughter, Kayla. Phil & Lori Worley, David Walker and Ricky Blalock. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a niece, the daughter of Jason and Karen Capley.
