Willie Randy "Breeze" Roberts

Willie Randall "Randy" "Breeze" Roberts, 63, former employee of Durango Boot Company in Franklin and welder by trade, died Friday, March 2, 2018 at his residence on New Highway 7. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 11:00 A.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home, with Rev. Allen Armstrong officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by the Herbert Griffin American Legion Post 19. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 2:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the son of Bobbye Roberts Ludden and the late Willie Ragsdale Roberts. Mr. Roberts was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing and playing music and spending time with his family every day. He was of Baptist faith and later in life attended Elmore Church of the Nazarene. In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife, whom he married March 15, 1993, Wanda Yvonne Manire Roberts of Santa Fe, children, Matthew Roberts of Shelbyville; David Kyle Roberts of Shelbyville; sister, Debbie (Jim) Dotson of Santa Fe; nephews, Michael Webber; and Doyle "Bubba" Webber; dog, G Dub; and very special friend, Sherry Smith. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his step-father, John Scott Ludden.Active pallbearers will be family and friends.
