Wilma A Head

Wilma Allene Head, 83, former resident of Akin Ridge Road in the Williamsport Community, died Monday, January 22, 2007, at Rosewood Manor. A graveside service will be conducted at 12:00 noon Wednesday at Santa Fe Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 2:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late George Henry Head and Fannie Mae Whitworth Head. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include three sisters, Doris Choate and Rachel Cooley, both of Columbia; Mable Bailey of Opelika, Alabama; two brothers, William Gardner (Mildred) Head of Columbia; Roy Fulton (Doris Ann) Head of Clarksville; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers, George Henry Head, Enis Howard Head, and Billy Glenn Head. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
