Wilma Lucille Daniels Oliver, 88, retired seamstress for Winning Moves and resident of Columbia, died Sunday, May 8, 2022 at Life Care Center of Columbia. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 1:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Reverend Mike Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Gibsonville Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. until service time at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born January 21, 1934 in Giles County, she was the daughter of the late Claude Daniels and the late Gracie Clifton Daniels. On November 18, 1950, she married James Morgan Oliver who preceded her in death June 30, 1986. Mrs. Oliver was a member of Frist Freewill Baptist Church. Survivors include her son, Tony (Linda) Oliver of Columbia; daughter-in-law, Faye Oliver of Columbia; grandchildren, Eddie Oliver, Jr. of Chapel Hill; Shane (Jessica) Oliver of Columbia; Michelle Oliver Cox of Columbia; Josh (Amanda) Oliver of Columbia; Morgan (Josh) Jones of Columbia; and nine great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sons, James Edward Oliver in 2012; William Daniel Oliver in 2020; Timothy D. Oliver in 2020; sisters, Peggy Allen, Juanita Polk, Margaret Petty; and brothers, Claude Daniels, Jr., Jimmy Daniels, Charles Daniels, and Perry Daniels. Active pallbearers will be Tony Oliver, Eddie Oliver, Jr., Shane Oliver, Josh Oliver, Josh Jones, and Luke Oliver. The family would like to express a special thanks to Brenda, Wendy, and all the staff at Life Care Center of Columbia for taking such good care of Mrs. Oliver and treating her like family.
