Woodrow Wilson Crigger, 84, retired farmer and former long-time resident of Pitts Drive, died Thursday, November 22, 2007 at Columbia Care & Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 1:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Jeremy Butt officiating. Burial will be in Scribner's Mill Cemetery. He was a member of West 7th Street Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife of fifty-nine years, Willie Pearl Quirk Crigger of Columbia; daughters, Evone Wells of Mt. Pleasant and Vicky Hethcote of Columbia; son, Arthur (Donna) Crigger of Lewisburg; sisters, Alice (Chuck) Hill of Antioch and Delia Osborne of Lewisburg; nine grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; four nieces. He was preceded in death by a sister, Bonnie Mash; brother, Lonnie Crigger; and half-brother, Marvin Crigger. Active pallbearers are grandsons and grandsons-in-law. Honorary pallbearers include members of the Auditorium Adult Sunday School Class at West 7th Street Church of Christ, nurses at Columbia Care & Rebhabilitation Center and Hospice of the Highland Rim, and Dr. Ben Gardner.
