Woodrow Wilson Crigger

Woodrow Wilson Crigger, 84, retired farmer and former long-time resident of Pitts Drive, died Thursday, November 22, 2007 at Columbia Care & Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 1:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Jeremy Butt officiating. Burial will be in Scribner's Mill Cemetery. Notes of sympathy may be sent to www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the son of the late Ewell Crigger and Annie Pearl Crews Crigger. He was a member of West 7th Street Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife of fifty-nine years, Willie Pearl Quirk Crigger of Columbia; daughters, Evone Wells of Mt. Pleasant and Vicky Hethcote of Columbia; son, Arthur (Donna) Crigger of Lewisburg; sisters, Alice (Chuck) Hill of Antioch and Delia Osborne of Lewisburg; nine grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; four nieces. He was preceded in death by a sister, Bonnie Mash; brother, Lonnie Crigger; and half-brother, Marvin Crigger. Active pallbearers are grandsons and grandsons-in-law. Honorary pallbearers include members of the Auditorium Adult Sunday School Class at West 7th Street Church of Christ, nurses at Columbia Care & Rebhabilitation Center and Hospice of the Highland Rim, and Dr. Ben Gardner.
