View Funeral Webcast Floyd English Parsons, Jr., 74, owner of Industrial Tank Lining, died Sunday, September 26, 2021 at his residence in Williamsport. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Donnie Joe Rhoten officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. Born February 7, 1947 in Maury County, he was the son of the late Floyd English Parsons, Sr. and the late Mattie Elizabeth Coleman Parsons. Mr. Parsons served in the United States Army and was a member of West Seventh Street Church of Christ. Always there when anyone needed a helping hand, Mr. Parsons was known as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He loved mowing his yard, working hard, could fix anything and wouldn’t stop until he had it perfect. Survivors include his wife, whom he married July 30, 1966, Margaret Morton Parsons of Williamsport; children, Brian (Christi) Parsons of Columbia; Jonathan (Heather) Parsons of Columbia; Erin (Andy) Haines of Spring Hill; grandchildren, Brittan Parsons of Columbia; Braden Parsons of Columbia; Maci Parsons of Columbia; Lily Parsons of Columbia; Mattie Parsons of Columbia; Hannah Haines of Spring Hill; Kaite Haines of Spring Hill; Jace Haines of Spring Hill; and brother, Burr Parsons of Alabama. Active pallbearer will be Brian Parsons, John Parsons, Braden Parsons, Jace Haines, Andy Haines, Curt Harakas, Burr Parsons, Darby Cowan, and Jerry Wayne Barber.
